The Fields I Used to Roam by Amy B. Carroll Image: Sometimes my clients have the best ideas! This fall a fabulous couple came searching for a painting that “Embraces Indiana”! They wanted the fields, and a beautiful sky and a barn and all the good things that I tend to take for granted. The couple had moved from beautiful California to Indiana after visiting several times to drop their daughter at college. Each time, their trips would get longer and longer as they discovered the beauty of our state. Their search and newly found appreciation of our state inspired a new series of paintings for me that all have to do with “Embracing Indiana”.
