Woodland Creatures
My art features small intimate, paintings of woodland creatures and birds, including a rabbit, owl, fox, wren and barn swallow. Each piece captures the quiet elegance and unique personality of these animals blending nature’s beauty with delicate brushwork. Through these miniature portraits, I aim to evoke a sense of wonder and connection to the natural world.
Aspens
I sold my last Aspen painting and this is my new one. I will always have an Aspen tree painting in my studio to remind me of Colorado. This one isn’t named yet 🙂
The Fields I Used to Roam
The Fields I Used to Roam by Amy B. Carroll Image: Sometimes my clients have the best ideas! This fall a fabulous couple came searching for a painting that “Embraces Indiana”!
The Messenger
36”x36” Acrylic on canvas with glass shards. I love painting birds and when a friend told me the meaning of a Cardinal, I fell even more in love with these beautiful red birds.
Hydrangeas in Early Evening
Hydrangeas are always one of my favorite flowers to grow in my garden and to paint! While I am always envious of the amazing giant blue and purple hydrangeas that grow along the East coast, the hydrangeas in Indiana seldom disappoint.
Reigning Star
1…I applied a gel medium for the buildings at the bottom and carved negative words in them to represent social media and news…things that surround us with negativity and also tell us what we should be doing or not doing.
