This fun and welcoming art studio is located in the heart of Zionsville’s iconic Main Street. Owner and artist Amy Carroll creates and curates art in her gallery using an open-door concept. Don’t just window-shop at this one-of-a-kind working studio. Come in for conversation. Seriously, don’t be shy if you see Amy working, come on in to say hello.
Carroll is a renowned Indianapolis artist. She has been a part of the Indianapolis arts scene for decades. Before opening in Zionsville, her studio was located at the Stutz Building in downtown Indianapolis, where she was part of a group of over 90 artists.
Out of the Blue Art Studios came together literally out of the blue. She was working in a loft above Zionsville’s Blooms by Dragonfly yet needed more space and light. Suddenly 70 S. Main St. became available with its floor to ceiling Main Street facing windows, unique tin ceiling, areas for each artist to work and space for art lovers to mingle, relax and stay awhile.
Stop in and sit on the comfy green (yes, not blue) sofa and chat. Or just quietly sit and relax in the welcoming space filled with artworks including porcelain, oil on canvas and mixed materials on canvas. Each bespoke artwork work tells a story Amy is happy to share.
The studio is open afternoons and evenings. We hope you’ll come by. If you’re waiting on a table at a local restaurant, let us host you until it’s ready. See something in the window or studio that looks like it could fit well into your home or space, ask more about the piece. We’ll even make an appointment to bring it to your home to see it in the space.
